Kitty Finegan - Graphic Artist

Graphic Artist, Cabaret Artiste, and all-round Decent Northern Lass, Kitty Finegan produces memorable, mischievous, and occasionally timeless art; infused with colour, emotion and a dusting of Razzle Dazzle.

Her love of lists, catalogues and setting the scene has steered her recent work into themes; concentrating on the female form and all of its emotional and physical entanglements. Simple ideas mingled with intricate graphic detail, juicy colour schemes and a cheeky title, reflect Kitty Finegan's passions: 1960's hair doo's, comics, beer mats, pin-up art, one-liners and early printing methods.

She is co-founder of Popchoc.com an internet based gallery, who promote and sell affordable art work by established artists including Ben Allen, Lisa Ashcroft and Simon Dixon. They have had four very successful years exhibiting at The Glasgow Art Fair and were asked in their first year to organize a group show in the inauguration of the Q! Gallery, Glasgow.

Kitty Finegan has the soul of a 1960's Housewife, the heart of a Torch Singer and was once described as "a 5 feet 7, twelve and a half stone, walking-talking pussycat"
